Drive to the semi-desert region of Elsen Tasarkhai.
Visit a nomadic family and ride a Bactrian camel.
Overnight: Tourist Ger Camp.
Explore the 13th-century capital of the Mongol Empire.
Visit Erdene Zuu Monastery, Kharkhorin Museum, and the Phallic Rock.
Overnight: Tourist Ger Camp near Kharkhorin.
Drive into the lush Arkhangai province.
Soak in the natural hot (86°C / 187°F) mineral springs.
Overnight: Ger Camp at the hot springs.
Drive to the volcanic Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur lake.
Hike up the Khorgon Togoo extinct volcano for panoramic views.
Overnight: Tourist Ger Camp by the lake.
Free day for activities: horseback riding, hiking, visiting nomadic families, or relaxing.

Long drive north through changing landscapes to the taiga forest.
Arrive in Murun, the capital of Khuvsgul province.
Overnight: Hotel in Murun.
Drive to the “Blue Pearl of Mongolia,” Khuvsgul Lake.
Settle into Ger camp and walk the pristine shoreline.
Overnight: Tourist Ger Camp at Khuvsgul Lake.
Full-day activities: boat trip, horseback riding, or an optional visit to a Tsaatan (Reindeer Herder) summer camp.
Overnight: Tourist Ger Camp at Khuvsgul Lake.
Final morning at the lake before driving back to Murun.
Overnight: Hotel in Murun.
Morning flight to Ulaanbaatar.
Free time for souvenir shopping at the State Department Store or Naran Tuul Market.
Farewell dinner.

Transfer to the airport for international departure.
